It’s fall in Colorado Springs. Snow is falling, and temperatures are plummeting. We want to keep those pipes from freezing. If you have a sprinkler system, it’s time to blow it out, so icing over doesn’t burst those pipes.

Can you say expensive? You don’t want to have to pay to fix your sprinkler system or clean up flooding from burst pipes. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure!

With All County, the residents must have their sprinkler system winterized by a professional service before November 1st. Do this now! Vendors get booked quickly.

Taking a Winter Vacation?

If you should decide to take an extended trip away from the home we recommend setting the thermostat no lower than 62 degrees, though we normally keep our vacant homes in the winter set closer to 65.

Do you have anyone that can come check on the home while you are away? If not, we can arrange to put you on our scheduled vacancy check list with a minimal charge of $25. In the winter months we watch the weather very closely, if the weather is projected to drop drastically in temperature we will go to each vacant home that day. We check to ensure the furnace is kicking on and working, check piping under sinks and open the cabinet doors to make sure the heat circulates and keeps pipes warm.
