The cycle of home sales in the Pikes Peak Region is high in the summer, tapering off in winter. This trend is starting to turn around already, with the number of residential home sales up this month. This number is up 30 homes from last month—maybe the winter drop is over already!

Total Homes for Sale: 1,163

This is up from 908 in January of 2017, great news!

Median Price of Home: $295,000

Still rising, up from $265,000 last year at this time.

Average Days on Market: 39

This is up from 36 last month, but is still lower than the 44 days it took to sell a home last year at this time.

Summary

It’s taking longer to sell a home in the Pikes Peak Region. The median price of a residential home its still rising. Now, more houses are beginning to sell. Good news!
