This is a reminder to all of our tenants who occupy a home equipped with a sprinkler system that it is that time of year again to winterize your sprinkler system. Now is the time to have these scheduled, as vendors get booked quickly.
This is your responsibility and we can NOT stress enough how important it is you accomplish this task prior to November 1st. The cost of repairing broken lines due to freezing can add up to several hundred if not thousands of dollars!
Please provide us a copy of your receipt (No later than November 1st, 2021) via:
- Drop off in office Monday – Friday between 9:00 AM and 4:30 PM
- Email to: Contact@allcountycs.com with subject line Sprinkler Receipt (your address)
- Fax: 719-445-6252
- US Mail to: All County Colorado Springs, 811 S Tejon St, Colorado Springs, 80903
NOTE: After November 1st, if All County has not received notification of winterization, we will send a vendor to the property to complete this very important task at the tenant’s expense.
In addition, please make sure to disconnect hoses, change out furnace filters, and check your furnace. If you have any questions or would like a vendor recommendation, do not hesitate to give us a call. We are here to help.
If you should decide to take an extended trip away from the home we recommend setting the thermostat no lower than 62 degrees, though we normally keep our vacant homes in the winter set closer to 65.
Do you have anyone that can come check on the home while you are away? If not, we can arrange to put you on our scheduled vacancy check list with a minimal charge of $25. In the winter months we watch the weather very closely. If the weather is projected to drop drastically in temperature, we will go to each vacant home that day. We check to ensure the furnace is kicking on and working, check piping under sinks, and open the cabinet doors to make sure the heat circulates and keeps pipes warm.
Best Regards,
